The Respond, Research, Create, collaborative notebook maps the process the student artist-teacher engage in to create a visual narrative of their pedagogy and process within the Change Lab. (Respond, Research, Create, are the three guiding principles that frame the New Leaving Certificate Visual Art specification at senior cycle post primary education in the Republic of Ireland).
The notebook contains the initial conceptualisation of how each student artist -teacher collective explore DE, through the lens of their practice. The ideas and concepts that emerge, relevant resources and stimuli and the artist /design process they work through to create the resolved art work.
The notebook is printed and displayed in the gallery space, alongside their resolved collaborate piece of art work to invite audience members to explore and interact with each stage of the student artist-teacher learning and thinking process.
